Engine Build

You are inquiring about wanting the Reid’s Speed Shop touch and are looking for me to personally handle an engine build for you. This includes teardown, working with the machine shop personally, assembly in a clean and tidy environment, prep and hand painted to the color of your choosing, break-in, and an opportunity to hear the engine run in person and a sign off sheet with your approval before it’s ever loaded up!

In the Project Details, please provide me with a clear cut goal for your build with a budget in mind and I will get back with you to discuss further details.

Disclaimer: I will not be offering builds utilizing flat tappet camshafts as all my builds will either be OE roller or retrofit roller builds (taking a non roller engine and fitting it with a roller valvetrain properly). This is primarily due to quality control that I cannot guarantee and the risks are too uncertain. Thank you for understanding!

Here I will take your overall build goal, construct it on paper from the ground up, and provide you with the nitty gritty details of what it will take.

I will charge half my labor rate for constructing these build sheets whether or not the client chooses to move forward or not to pay for my time.

If you opt to proceed with the build with me, I will cut the build sheet cost in half!
