Custom Engine Builds
For customers seeking a custom-built performance engine tailored to their specific application, Reid’s Speed Shop offers a comprehensive engine building service from initial teardown through final assembly and verification.
Each build begins with a suitable engine core, either supplied by the customer or sourced through Reid’s Speed Shop. From there, the engine undergoes thorough inspection, professional machine work, and precision assembly utilizing carefully selected components tailored to your performance goals, driving preferences, and budget.
Our services also include detailed engine finishing with custom paint options, followed by operational testing and verification on our dedicated engine test stand. Customers are welcome to experience their completed engine running in person prior to delivery.

Note: Builds are limited to OE roller and retrofit roller valvetrain combinations to ensure reliability and consistent performance.
