At Reid's Speed Shop, every custom engine is built around your goals—not a one-size-fits-all package. Custom builds are available for a variety of popular domestic platforms, including Small Block Chevy, Small Block Ford, and LS-based engines, with additional platforms available upon request.
From our first conversation to final assembly, I personally handle every step of the process. That includes researching and sourcing quality components, preparing a detailed build sheet for your review and approval, coordinating machine work, precision engine assembly, painting and detailing, and run stand break-in and verification when applicable.
Every engine is assembled using proven, reputable components selected for long-term reliability and real-world performance. As part of that commitment, Reid's Speed Shop exclusively builds engines utilizing hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter combinations, providing a durable and dependable foundation for a modern street performance engine.
